Kitesurfing courses
It all starts at the beginning!
In a short time you will be cruising and flying over the water, but we must begin at the begin.
Kitesurfing is a combination of 2 sports: 1. Kiting and 2. Surfing.
Every beginner’s course will start with learning how to fly a kite. In a safe environment we will teach you how to fly a small kite. This kite has very little power, so you won’t get dragged over the beach! After a short explanation you will be able to handle this small kite and now it’s time to move on to the real stuff!
During the course you will fly a kite matching your progression and circumstances. We only will move to a next step when you are ready for it.The kites that we use are the latest of it’s kind. We use kites from 4m2 up to 14m2 and are equipped with the latest safety systems.
The whole idea about learning to Kitesurf is to make you an independent kite surfer. So we won’t make any strange guarantees that you will surf you first meters in the first course, and forget about important things (safety, landing, starting)
During the course you will kite in a small group of 2 persons using one kite. In this way you will have plenty of time for learning by doing and observing.
After every course there will be a brief evaluation what your next step can be.
We offer different courses, which are all bases around the VDWS- IKO learning system.

Advice
After finishing a course you have to make a decision: Do i want to rent the equipment, or do i want to have my own equipment?
For the last solution we have a very good relation with the biggest surf shop in the Area: Intersurf Sneek. The have everything you need, from kites to clothing: They have it!

Kiteboarding cards
Learning how to Kitesurf is a lot of fun! During the training you will get a lot of information. Al this information is packed in one simple book: the kitesurfers book!
This book is available for only 15€.
After you have completed the course you can get a Kiteboarder card. This card shows your level, and you will need this card in many countries to rent out equipment. The costs for a Kiteboarder cards are €12,50
